The Scientific and Production Republican Unitary Enterprise “Scientific Research Institute of Technical Information Protection” (SRITIP) is a system integrator in the field of the latest security technologies and coordinates scientific, research, methodological, and practical work on technical information protection and information systems for the benefit of ministries, departments, and organizations of the Republic of Belarus.

Main areas of activity:

• Conducting research and development work on technical information protection, creating secure information systems, information protection tools (special and general purpose), and monitoring their security;

• Developing and implementing state and interstate programs in the field of technical information protection;

• Coordinating scientific research in the field of technical information protection;

• Drafting legal and regulatory acts, standards, and special requirements in the field of technical information protection;

• Activities in the field of communications;

• Activities related to specific goods (works, services), particularly activities related to military products, and activities related to cryptographic information protection and means of covert information acquisition;

• Activities to enhance the anti-terrorist protection of facilities;

• Experimental production of prototypes of new types of equipment and technologies for ensuring technical information protection and means of its processing, as well as protected computer equipment and communications;

• Establishing scientific ties with national, foreign, and international organizations operating in the field of technical information protection;

• Organizing training and professional development for specialists in technical information protection issues;

• Developing methodological documents, manuals, and specialized literature on technical information protection;

• Conducting foreign economic relations, as well as trade intermediary operations and other functions in export-import operations in accordance with the established legal procedure;

• Providing legal services to business entities in the field of information law.
