“Voron” housed in durable and convenient lightweight aluminum alloy body with wrist strap and soft rubber eyecup.
Camera detection principle based on retroreflection or “cat’s eye” effect, when beam from light source on camera optical axis reflects from lens and camera photosensor like mirror and returns to light source. Therefore, when hidden target detected, bright red dot spot observed in device field of view (reflection from camera lens). “Voron” uses LED target illumination ensuring operational safety and no harmful human impact (unlike laser illumination).
Device operation in optical rather than radio frequency range enables detection of any optical devices (including video cameras) regardless of their status (on/off) and information transmission type (radio or cable). Radio electronic interference, electromagnetic shielding, camouflage nets and lens hoods also don’t prevent camera detection.
Technical solutions used in device (roof prism erecting system and multi-layer optical coating) enabled compact design development with excellent optical characteristics including high magnification, wide field of view and exceptionally high image quality, significantly increasing room inspection speed and reducing target miss probability.
High-efficiency switching power supply provides long operation time from single widely available and inexpensive 1.5V AA alkaline battery.
