Nonlinear locator is designed for detecting any electronic devices, including covertly installed in premises and vehicles, containing semiconductor elements (radio microphones, mini recorders, GPS trackers, hidden video cameras, mobile phones, etc.) during inspection. Nonlinear locator operation principle provides virtually 100% guarantee of electronic device detection compared to many other search devices.

Description

Device consists of transmitter, two receivers, processing and display unit, antenna unit.

Transmitting antenna creates electromagnetic field within its radiation pattern. When any device containing semiconductor elements appears in this field, receivers register appearance of second and third harmonic signals of transmitter frequency. Signals from receiver outputs go to processing and display unit. LED indicators colored red and green display received signal levels at 2nd and 3rd harmonics.
