ProtectServer 3 HSM security modules are available in three modifications:

• ProtectServer 3 HSM Network Modules
  • ProtectServer 3+ External HSM – external device connected via ethernet, providing reliable protection of cryptographic keys, and featuring two hot-swap power supplies for increased fault tolerance.
  • ProtectServer 3 External HSM – offers the same functionality as ProtectServer 3+ HSM, but is a more budget-friendly solution due to a simplified chassis with single power supply.
• ProtectServer 3 PCIe HSM — tamper-resistant crypto adapter with PCIe x4 interface for integration into server platforms.

The module is also used in solutions requiring implementation of non-standard or complex cryptographic protocols.
