The device allows detecting an electronic device hidden in a cell, in personal belongings, or on the person of a prisoner, regardless of whether it is switched on or off. The detection signal for electronic devices is output to a special remote loudspeaker.
The detection range reaches 2 meters, with the localization error of the radio station or mobile phone location not exceeding 5 cm. The search productivity is about 3 sq.m. per minute. This is sufficient to check a standard cell in just 10 minutes.
The delivery set of the NR-µG detector includes a special load-bearing vest that allows placing the main detector units on the back and maximally freeing the security officer’s hands.
Currently, the NR-µG detector is successfully operated by structures of the GUIN of the Ministry of Justice of the Russian Federation.
