The ST111 has two main operating modes: SEARCH and MONITORING. Additional modes are PROTOCOL VIEW and OSCILLOSCOPE.
SEARCH MODE
This mode is designed for operational search and location of radio transmitting devices (РТС). The use of this mode is based on a visual assessment of signal levels on a 32-segment scale. Additionally, separate indication for continuous and pulsed signal types is used, display of identified signals – GSM 900 & 1800, DECT, BLUETOOTH and 802.11g, as well as indication of stable signal frequency. Acoustic monitoring of the detected signal is provided via headphones or the built-in speaker.
MONITORING MODE
Designed to detect radio transmitting devices based on a set threshold, frequency, or signal type. During autonomous operation, information is saved in the device’s non-volatile memory.
PROTOCOL VIEW MODE
Designed for viewing the event log generated as a result of the device operating in MONITORING mode.
The ability to sort events by the following criteria is provided: time of event occurrence, event duration, signal level, and frequency range.
OSCILLOSCOPE MODE
Designed for analyzing signals in the time domain. Cursor measurements with output of numerical signal parameter values are provided.
